Happy Birthday Papa!

Every year since Ben was about 5 months old I started taking pictures with a little sign for Nick's dad's birthday. I always laugh so hard when I see these pictures and see the boys just shred the sign to bits. Happy Birthday Joe! I hope you have a wonderful year!

I Can Do It

And we've hit the wonderful world of a two year old. This pretty much sums up my day!

Trick or Treating

On Halloween this year we took a visit to the Gramma's houses. We thought we'd get our feet wet with trick or treating. Ben doesn't quite understand it yet or at least he didn't at the beginning of the night but, by the end of it he wouldn't stop talking about wanting a "bite" of a twix bar! Robbie almost didn't have a costume but, luckily this little ditty was found at Target the day before! This was probably one of the more fun Halloweens since college! Having kids makes it so much more fun!

Pum-pum Guts

The night before Halloween we carved pumpkins and Nick was trying to get Ben involved. Ben is timid about touching anything foreign especially if it looks slimy! He was interested though. Pretty much Nick carved out all four pum-pums!

Little Helper

Lately when Ben sees Robbie's bink not in his mouth he feels the needs to put it in his mouth because that's where his bink is! Such a good helper. Hopefully that'll be the only thing he'll put in his brother's mouth.

Brotherly Love

I caught Ben laying down doing tummy time with Robbie the other day and Ben curled up beside him. I luckily had the camera handy and honestly these things happen so fast I can't believe I got these shots!

Ben's Birthday Part 2

We had a small family birthday party for Ben the night of his birthday. He was so excited once all the family started to show up. He knew they were all there for him and he loved it! The only part that he didn't enjoy was once the candle on his cupcake blew out he put the candle in his mouth and burned his lip! That wasn't fun and once again he refused to eat birthday cake on his birthday! Maybe next year.

Ben's Birthday Part 1

On Ben's birthday we went to Sauvie's Island Pumpkin Patch. We had so much fun looking at all the animals in the barn, climbing on the tractors, climbing on the hay, and on the hay ride! Ben also had a fun time looking for a pumpkin or as he likes to call them 'pum-pums'. Robbie snoozed the whole time!
