On Sunday it got up close to the mid 90's and I thought it would be a perfect day for a cool dip in the pool. We got all packed up and headed over there sun screen and all. About to put his little tootsies in the water and a nice loud cry bellowed out of Ben. He just wasn't going to have it. No cold water for this little boy... at least that day! You think he would have enjoyed it but, oh well. We'll try it again some other day maybe when it's not sweltering! Our friend Sarah came to join us with her boy Hunter. He actually seemed to like getting his feet drug through the kiddie pool! Good job Hunter!

Summery Spring Day
Last Saturday here in Sacramento we reached temps into the 90's and it
was so delightful! We had just finished an awesome Chipotle dinner and
were basking in the warmth in our backyard. Ben was in a fine mood as
well. We got him smiling and laughing and of course I just couldn't help
but, take a bunch of pictures.

First time cereal eater
Yesterday was the first time Ben tried solids. We gave him just the rice cereal and he gave some pretty funny faces. He didn't seem to hate it but, also didn't seem to love it either. He made a pretty good mess though! *Note to self no long sleeves or pants next time*
Happy Easter
Driving Lesson
Nick had to move his truck back into the driveway the other night and he thought... 'heck why not teach the baby how to drive'!
Sittin' Tall
We have a growing boy on our hands! He is now sitting up by himself and is loving it. He still wobbles a little but, for the most part he's good to be left on the floor alone! He has discovered his toys now and is intrigued by all that they have to offer! Ben also thinks that Kitty is a toy too. She is still skittish around him but, is doing really well most days and will even walk by and let Ben grab her back hair without jumping or biting. If I did that I would get it from her for sure!!
